Three Hampshire Entrepreneurs Awarded Grinspoon Grants

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation's Entrepreneurship Initiative recently recognized a Hampshire student and two Hampshire graduates with cash awards of $800 to fund their work.

Ezra Teboul 08F started a business designing and fabricating custom electronic music equipment. He is currently designing the expansion of his line of musical electronics including electric guitar pedals and amplifiers.

Kamil Peters 06F established a residential and commercial metalworking and sculpture business. In addition to his metalworking, Peters teaches community-based art to at-risk youth.

Dan Battat 07F crafts and sells cups, custom glasswork, pendants, earrings, marbles, and novelty items made of recycled glass bottles.

The Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation supports the Entrepreneurship Initiative to foster entrepreneurship education among participating colleges and universities in the region.

Hampshire College's Lemelson Center offers students opportunities and courses to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
