March 7-8: Five College Queer Gender and Sexuality Conference

Hampshire College will host the Five College Queer Gender and Sexuality Conference on March 7 and 8.

The conference, entering its fifth year, is student-led and aims to offer "an accountable and supportive environment to further explore a wide range of topics, and their intersections, such as race, genders, sexualities, and class in a specifically queer context," says one of the event's student organizers, Abigail Carpenter-Winch 10F.

Carpenter-Winch says that the conference has an increasing amount of diversity every year, with a broad array of attendees coming together with "something to share," she says. "We've expanded beyond Hampshire. This year we're expecting students that are from all over the map. It's going to be great."
