Convocation and Opening of Academic Year

“As a member of team Hampshire College, you are part of a unique supportive community of inspired, motivated, and like-minded individuals. And that is a very powerful resource,” said keynote speaker Walter Greenleaf 75S at opening convocation. “Entering students, you are now part of our team, our group, our community. And unlike other academic institutions, being part of Hampshire means a lot to Hampshire alums. Hampshire alums remain active and engaged after they graduate, and help each other when given the chance.”
