Hampshire has received national coverage around the bold steps we are taking to reduce emissions, build a net-zero living building, and solar-power the whole campus.

Alum Catherine Craig works at the intersection of law and social justice, in public-interest environmental work. Craig has begun her law career as a clerk to the legislative council in the Vermont State House, where she’ll be writing environmental laws. ‚Äč

A $200,000 grant from the Roddenberry Foundation will challenge Hampshire faculty and students to find interdisciplinary solutions to climate change, sustainability, resilience, and social justice through new courses, project grants, events, and even a Solve-a-Thon team contest across all five schools of the college.
