David Matheson joined the Board in 2014.
He is a senior advisor to the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked from 1980 to 2010 and served as a senior partner. He was the founder and global leader of the firm’s health care practice. Dave managed the Boston office and served on the BCG Executive Committee.
Dave is currently the chair of Pharos Global Health. He served on the boards of PLAN International/Childreach, where he was Chairman, US Board; was Witt/Kieffer’s External Director, Chairman; and was the Hampshire Finance Committee Chair for six years.
He also serves as an advisory board member of Harvard Business School Visiting Committee, Harvard School of Public Health Dean's Advisory Council, Harvard Center for Surgery and Public Health, Harvard Kennedy School Health Care Delivery Project, Healthways Strategic Advisory Board, and Mass Medicaid Policy Council.
Dave received an MA with first class honors from the University of St. Andrews, a JD MCL from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review, and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
He is the parent of two Hampshire alums.
