For the academic year 2017-2018, Hampshire College requires that students participate in a meal plan according to the following schedule:

This plan permits one-time access to each of the 19 all-you-can-eat meal periods each week in the dining commons. Meal swaps may be used at the Bridge Cafe instead of the dining hall, M-F during the lunch period only. Participants may also access the dining commons between breakfast and lunch for coffee/beverage service only.

$2,543 per semester

Voluntary Block Meal Plan

Optional for students housed in modular apartments, Enfield, Greenwich, and Prescott (excluding Prescott suite#104), and commuter students.

Each block meal counts for one all-you-can-eat visit to the Hampshire College dining commons.

  • 25 all-you-can-eat meals: $225
  • 50 all-you-can-eat meals: $440
  • 75 all-you-can-eat meals: $655
  • 100 all-you-can-eat meals: $870

Block meal plans purchased before November 15 do not carry over to spring semester. When you purchase a block meal plan on or after November 15, any unused block plan meals will carry over to spring semester. Unused block plan meals do not carry over to fall semester. Please consider this when selecting your block meal plan. To purchase, students must log on to TheHub and select Meal Plans under the Financial Info section. All block plans are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

Café Card

Students are billed a $200 Café Card fee each semester, which will be entered on their OneCard for use at the dining commons, Bridge Café, Kern Kafe, and Mixed Nuts. The Café Card fee is non-refundable and does not carry over from the spring to fall semester. Please contact Bon Appétit if you have dietary restrictions to determine suitable meals that can be purchased with your Café Card.

Café Card Upgrades

Add funds to your Café Card at any time via TheHub or ebilling.hampshire.edu. Available to all resident, mod, and commuter students. Café Card funds do not carry over from spring to fall. Unused Cafe Card funds are nonrefundable and non-transferable.
