Updates & Resources

As Hampshire College is exploring options for a sustainable, impactful future, this page will serve as a resource for information and updates as they are released. Content is organized by constituency and includes community announcements, FAQs, contact information, media coverage, and more.

On April 5, the Hampshire College Board of Trustees decided to move forward with plans for an independent Hampshire. This came in response to the incredible outpouring of love and support for Hampshire College, and appreciation of its significance to higher education. A strong coalition of staff, faculty, students, alums, parents, and former Presidents are joining with the College’s Board of Trustees to make this work.

We invite everyone to join this effort. It truly is an all-hands-on-deck moment at the College. We will need everyone’s unique talents, insights, and perspectives to imagine and create a sustainable future for Hampshire College.

Please know that our first priority is to support our students right now and going forward. And we look forward to learning with them as we lay the groundwork for the coming year.
