“What I’m learning academically at Hampshire comes into play when I’m organizing,” says Kamika Bennett. “I have a good foundation in what the different issues related to immigration are, and what I have to do to build trust and solidarity among different groups.”
Hampshire College to Launch Leadership and Ethical Engagement Project

Professor of Philosophy Marlene Gerber Fried participated in a conversation on reproductive rights on “Difficult Dialogues: Voices from the Valley.” The program produced by sister Five College institution Mount Holyoke discusses complex social issues. Professor Gerber Fried is faculty director of CLPP, the Civil Liberties and Public Policy program at Hampshire.
