How Hampshire Celebrated Earth Day 2015

Earth Day at Hampshire College this year was lively, strategical, and filled with a warm April sun and breeze. Just the day prior, Hampshire was highlighted by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in High Education (AASHE) for “advancing sustainability on a local and global front.” We were one of only 11 institutions to be featured. What a way to begin the Earth Day festivities.

April 22: A Conversation with DOT EARTH Blogger Andrew C. Revkin

Andrew C. Revkin writes DOT EARTH, the influential New York Times opinion blog on climate change and environmental policy. On Earth Day, April 22, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Prescott Tavern, Revkin will offer a workshop free and open to anyone who would like to attend.

Environmental educator and writer David Orr, Henry P. Kendall Foundation executive director Andrew W. Kendall, and CISA special projects director Margaret Christie will join President Jonathan Lash for a panel discussion of regional food system strategies when Hampshire College celebrates Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22.
