Student Life Resources and Support

The unique academic structure and small, personalized nature of the Hampshire community enable faculty and staff to work closely with students to develop individual relationships. Our community-oriented culture also allows students to be involved in opportunities that help them gain skills for a healthy life and supporting peers in this learning as well.

Through these close relationships, faculty, staff, and students may become aware when a student is having difficulties on a personal level through observing changes in a student's behavior, or because a student chooses to disclose a personal issue. In these situations, you can play an important role in helping a student get support.

Throughout this resource guide, you will find answers to frequently asked questions and ways to access and refer to support resources.

Whether you are a faculty, staff, or student member of the community, you are not alone in supporting students through challenges and crises.
