Experience Hampshire's innovative, cross-discipline, immersive, and self-directed approach to various topics of study during the month of June in Amherst, MA. These programs are intended for undergraduate college students, graduate students, post-B.A.s, professionals, and high school seniors who are at least 18 years old and will have graduated by spring 2018. This is a 4-week intensive summer program focusing on vocabulary, grammar, and communication through ASL.
This program will explore the ways in which people of color theorize the development of a political consciousness from #blackpower to #blacklivesmatter.
This 4-week program will focus on the entire arc of starting with an inspired idea on environmental solution seeking and walking through all steps of developing an idea to impact.
Returning for its second summer, this 4-week intensive summer program focuses on the linguistic workings of the human mind and artistic expression. This program also includes a paid internship component.
Also returning for a second summer this is a 4-week immersion into the script writing process with a focus on different scripting techniques in traditional and experimental, and non-fiction film and video.
This program is a concentrated four-week program during which students will collaborate over a rigorous schedule to create a stop motion short film from scratch.
After resounding success last summer, this 180-hour intensive certification summer program is designed for students and community members hoping to volunteer, teach English, pursue a new career path, or travel the world.
