TOEFL or IELTS
Applicants whose native language is not English are required to provide evidence of their English proficiency by submitting official TOEFL or IELTS scores obtained within the past two years. Students who have completed the 11th and 12th grades in the United States (or in an English-speaking country or program) are not required to submit the TOEFL or IELTS.
A minimum TOEFL ibt score 91 or 6.5 on the IELTS is usually required for admission to Hampshire College. Results from other standardized tests (such as SAT, ACT, ELPT), or predicted grades for IB English A1 or A2, or for A-level English, will also be considered.
