International candidates may apply under the Early Decision admission plan. This plan is available only to applicants who will not need financial assistance at any time.
Those accepted under the Early Decision plan must withdraw all applications to other colleges and commit themselves to attend Hampshire.

Early action candidates are free to submit applications to other colleges.
Regular Admission
First-year applicants ordinarily apply during their senior year of high school.
Early Entrance
Students possessing exceptional maturity and academic ability may apply during their junior year of high school. A limited number of places are available for early entrance candidates; an on-campus interview is required, along with written approval from the student's high school.
Note: Students who will receive a high school diploma after three years should apply as regular first-year candidates; they are also eligible to apply under the early decision and early action plans.
International Transfer Students
To be considered for transfer status, students must have completed at least 15 transferable semester credits or 23 transferable quarter credits in a variety of academic (liberal arts and sciences) disciplines prior to enrollment at Hampshire.
Courses must be comparable in academic demands and disciplines to courses offered at Hampshire, carry at least a grade of “C,” and not have been recorded as high school credit.
