All required forms can also be downloaded from the list below and mailed to the Hampshire College admissions office.

*Please note: In addition to the materials listed above, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and an admissions interview are both required for admission to the James Baldwin Scholars Program.
An admissions interview is required before the January 1 application deadline.
When contacting the admissions office to schedule an appointment, please let the receptionist know you are a Baldwin Scholar candidate.
To schedule an interview, call the admissions office at 877.937.4267 at least two weeks in advance. Interviews must be completed by the admissions deadline.
If you are unable to travel to campus, please request to speak to the admissions counselor on the James Baldwin Scholars Committee so that arrangements can be made for a field or telephone interview.
After submitting your application
Once we process your application, we will send an acknowledgment letter that will also list any application materials we have not received.
This letter will also include a username and password for you to check the completeness of your admissions file online.
