CBD in Division I, II, and III

How does CBD work? Here's the information you need.

CBD tutorials and courses get you started thinking about courses is CS, NS, and SS to explore CBD ideas.

Your CBD concentration helps you structure your CBD Div II.

How can CBD help me in Div III? APPLY for project funding in April and October, check the CBD calendar for the next deadline.

An internship or research assisstant position that addresses your CBD interest gives you experience. You find a professor, anywhere in the world, who will involve you in a research project that you connect to CBD, and  you can APPLY in April or October for a grant to fund some of your travel and housing costs.

Present your CBD academic work at a professional conference and CBD will fund some of your travel and housing costs. Applications for funding are accepted all year for this one!

How do students get involved in the CBD Student Group?

CBD students work with other academic programs, especially with the Critical Studies in Childhood and Education Program (CYL) and the Five College Program in Culture, Health, and Science.

Have you checked out Science Magazine or Nature Magazine on line?
Here's the path for Hampshire community members to Science: Type "library" in your browser to go to the Johnson Library page, click on "library journals and ejournals," click on "a-to-z list...," type in "science," AND click the circle by "exact." Click on "Go," click on Science, and then scroll down to "...Miscellaneous Ejournals" and click on "Go." Ah ha! Proceed with your research.

Here's the path for Hampshire community members to Nature: Go to the Johnson Library page, click on "library journals and ejournals," click on "a-to-z list...," type in "nature" AND click the circle by "exact." Then click on "Go," then click on Nature, and then if you want to see the current issue, click on the hot-linked word "Nature" in the option "Full-text online may be available via Nature." If you want a prior issue, enter the year, volume, etc. that you want and then click on the hot-linked Nature. Happy researching!
