Hampshire’s residential life program is unusual in the amount of autonomy and decentralization that exists among the individual house office and residential areas. This allows each area to express its own distinctive character. At the same time, the houses are strongly linked by shared values, expectations of behavior, and policies that govern living together well in a small community.
When you sign your room contract at the beginning of the year, you agree to abide by the overview of housing policies (pdf). We've also created a web-based summary of these policies.
This site gives you answers to some important questions, but you can learn more by reading our student handbook.
