Below is a listing of all incidents, fires, accidents, and arrests reported to the Hampshire College Campus Police Department. Each listing includes the date and time of the report; a description of the incident, accident, or arrest that includes the location of the event and a case number. These are provided for the education of the community as well as to satisfy the requirements of the Federal Right to Know Law. Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Enfield for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was a faulty smoke detector. Facilities & Grounds electrician responded and replaced the detector. The panel was reset - 0213 (1301-1119-OF).
Medical Emergency:
Officer responded to Prescott for the report of an ill student. Officer spoke with individual who did not want transport to medical treatment - 1102 (1301-1120-OF).
Medical Emergency:
Officers and EMTs responded to Dakin for a report of an injured student. EMTs evaluated individual, wrapped ankle and gave an ice pack. Individual refused further treatment - 1324 (1301-1121-OF).
Motor Vehicle Accident
Officer on patrol in Franklin Patterson Parking Lot was involved in minor motor vehicle accident. Pictures and report were taken - 2247 (1301-48-AC).

Carjacking/A&B on Police Officer/A&B on Police Officer/Disorderly conduct/Resisting Arrest/Indecent Exposure:
Officer on patrol near the Commuter Lot observed suspicious activity in progress. Subject became combative when officers approached. Subject also forciblly attempted to take control of a vehicle. Subject actively resisted officers attempt to make an arrest - 2023 (1301-1116-OF).
Medical Emergency:
Officers and EMTs responded to Prescott for a report of possible insect bite. EMTs evaluated the student who refused transport for further treatment - 2319 (1301-1117-OF).

Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Greenwich for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was shower steam. The panel was reset - 1153 (1301-1108-OF).
College Policy Violation:
Officers responded to a reported fire alarm in Greenwich confiscated drug paraphernalia. Officer took pictures and place item in property - 1209 (1301-1109-OF).

Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Enfield for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was cooking. The panel was reset - 0027 (1301-1097-OF).
Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Greenwich for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was cooking smoke. A fan was used to clear the air, the panel was reset - 0137 (1301-1098-OF).
Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Enfield for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was cooking smoke. The panel was reset - 0842 (1301-1099-OF).
Motor Vehicle Accident:
Officer responded to the Johnson Library to check in pool vehicle was notified of off campus motor vehicle accident. Officer took pictures and the report - 0845 (1301-55-FI).

Officers and AFD responded to Enfield for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was cooking smoke. The panel was reset - 1436 (1301-1101-OF).
Medical Emergency:
Officer, EMTs and AFD responded to Dakin for a report of an ill student. EMTs evaluated individual, AFD transported to CDH - 1716 (1301-1102-OF).

Officers and AFD responded to the Merrill Masters for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was cooking smoke - 1838 (1301-1103-OF).

Medical Emergency:
Officers and EMTs responded to Merrill for an ill student. EMTs evaluated individual who refused further treatment - 0125 (1301-1091-OF).
Fire Alarm:
Officers responded to the Prescott Tavern for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was custodians working in the area - 0946 (1301-1092-OF).
B&E for a Felony/Larceny over $250:
Officer responded to the Woman's Center for a report of a stolen computer and other items. Officer took the report - 1912 (1301-1096-OF). The case is open.

Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Dakin for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was vapor from item in use. The panel was reset - 1615 (1301-1087-OF).
Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Enfield for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was is unknown. The panel was reset - 2321 (1301-1090-OF).

Fire Alarm:
Officer and AFD responded to Prescott for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was a pulled pull station. The station was reset, the panel was reset - 0128 (1301-1074-OF).
Well-Being Check:
Officers responded to Merrill for a well-being check. Officer spoke with the student. House Staff responded. Individual contacted the calling party, officers cleared - 1320 (1301-1076-OF).
Medical Emergency:
Officers and EMTs responded to the fields behind the Farm Center for a reported medical issue. EMTs evaluated the individual who refused further care. Officer transported the individual to their campus, notified the on call Dean - 1634 (1301-1078-OF).
Fire Alarm:
Officers and AFD responded to Prescott for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was shower steam. The panel was reset - 1704 (1301-1079-OF).
College Policy Violation:
Officer responded to Dakin for a college policy violation. Officer confiscated the item which was logged into evidence - 2339 (1301-1080-OF).

Larceny over $250:
Officer responded to Enfield for a report of a stolen bicycle. Officer took the report - 0023 (1301-1067-OF). The case is open.
College Policy Violation:
Officer responded to Greenwich for a report of a college policy violation. Officer with staff and confiscated a small amount of marijuana which was placed in a property locker - 1133 (1301-1070-OF).

Officers responded to the Yurt where a student had started a campfire. Officer informed individual that a permit is needed for campfires. Fire was put out - 0021 (1301-1052-OF).

Officer and EMTs responded to Dakin for a reported injured student. EMTs evaluated individual, Officer transported to HCHS - 1624 (1301-1055-OF).

Officers and AFD responded to Prescott for a reported fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was smoke detector. The panel was reset - 2003 (1301-1057-OF).
