  Since 1972, the Mixed Nuts co-op has provided cheap, organic, and natural food to the Hampshire community. Run entirely by student volunteers without administrative funding, Mixed Nuts is a testament to student dedication.

  The mission of the Climbers’ Coalition is to offer opportunities for experiences that are often left behind in the modern world: a sense of camaraderie; outdoor exposure; a better understanding of oneself through educated risk; physical and mental fitness; and consideration for the natural environment.

Through event registration and the formal recognition of student groups, Hampshire College encourages students to design and implement programs that enrich and are consistent with the educational mission of the College. The name "Hampshire College" and all abbreviations are property of the Trustees of Hampshire College and may not be used to imply, either directly or indirectly, the College’s endorsement, support, favor, association with, or opposition to an organization, product, or service without permission of the College. The assistant dean of students for campus leadership and activities, as well as the dean of students office or designee, may deny recognition as well as cancel events or activities that violate any of these criteria.
