Applications and Web Services

IT maintains the following systems to support the Hampshire website and technology needs across campus.

	RedDot The content management system used to maintain Hampshire web pages. For assistance with RedDot, refer to the documentation or email reddot@hampshire.edu with questions.
	Announcement System Hampshire announcements and events are listed on the Intranet and sent out each morning, Monday - Friday, to faculty, staff, and students in a daily digest email. Anyone with a Hampshire login can add an announcement.
	Events Calendar Thyme calendar is integrated with the announcement system on the Intranet. Anyone with a Hampshire login can add an event to the faculty, staff, student, and/or public calendars. The public calendar is viewable at calendar.hampshire.edu.
	Intranet A portal to access Hampshire-specific announcements, events, and resources. The Intranet is accessible only with a Hampshire login.
	TheHub Provides access to various administrative functions of the College including, but not limited to, timecard processing and paystubs, budget reports, course evaluations and registration, and divisional contracts and evaluations.
	Directory Search for people or offices at Hampshire. Faculty, staff, and students have the ability to log in and change their preferred name settings, as well as how they want their contact information displayed.
	Moodle Open source learning management system used for course websites and feature-rich Hampshire community websites. Hampshire College is an active member of the Collaborative Liberal Arts Moodle Project.
	Zimbra Open source collaboration software that Hampshire uses for personal and departmental calendaring.
	Webmail Open source software for Hampshire users to check their email from anywhere.
	Form Generator A tool for Hampshire users to create web forms and surveys. Take a look at the forms and surveys tutorials for more information about this system.
	DSpace Open source digital repository software that the Hampshire library uses to archive students' Division III work.
	Campus Map and Virtual Tour A flash-based virtual tour and a printable pdf campus map.
	Wordpress Blogs Open source content management system used for Hampshire blogs and sites.
	ResourceSpace Open source digital asset management system for the office of communications to store and share Hampshire images.
