After you arrive: technology checklist for new students

Wireless Connect to the wireless network
Wireless coverage is available in all dorms, public spaces, and classrooms. Hampguest is public, Wallace and Gromit require a Hampshire login. Students use Gromit, as Wallace is for faculty and staff only. In the dorms, the network name matches the housing area and requires a Hampshire login.
Intranet Log in to the Intranet
The Intranet contains information specific to the Hampshire community, including announcements, events, lost and found, student employment, etc.
TheHub Log in to TheHub
Complete the e-checkin process, check your class schedule, as well as approvals and holds. If a class doesn't appear under My Schedule on TheHub, you're not officially registered. Approvals and holds may block your ability to participate in the add/drop process or make purchases in the bookstore.
Check your email Check your Hampshire email
All students are provided an email account for official Hampshire correspondence. Check your email often using webmail or learn how to set up forwarding or another email client.
Labs and printing Learn more about labs and printing
Locate a computer to use and find out how and where to print, copy, or scan on campus.
Security Safeguard your computer
Keep your operating system, browsers, and software up to date; install virus protection and learn about prevention; choose a good password and keep it safe.
 Don't touch that phish Protect your identity
Hampshire IT will never ask for your password. Do not send sensitive information via email even if the email requesting it appears official. Do not click on links in or reply to suspicious phishing emails.
OneCard

Protect your OneCard
Your OneCard ID gets you access to your dorm, meals at the dining commons and The Bridge Cafe, library resources, and athletic facilities.
Moodle

Log in to Moodle
Your professors may post class-related information or require assignment submissions in Moodle, the learning management system.
