The unique academic structure and small, personalized nature of the Hampshire community enables faculty and staff to work closely with students to develop individual relationships. Our community-oriented culture also allows students to be involved in opportunities that help them gain skills for a healthy life and supporting peers in this learning as well.
Through these close relationships, faculty, staff, and students may become aware when a student is having difficulties on a personal level through observing changes in a student’s behavior, or because a student chooses to disclose a personal issue. In these situations, you can play an important role in helping a student get support.
Throughout this resource guide you will find answers to frequently asked questions and ways to access and refer to support resources.
Whether you are a faculty, staff, or student member of the community, you are not alone in supporting students through challenges and crises.
If you are unable to find information you need to support a student on this website, please contact the office of student conduct, rights, and responsibilities for further referrals.
