(she/her)

After Hampshire College and Northeastern University School of Law, I headed to Alaska to join the Alaska Public Defender Agency. I worked in criminal defense my whole career, supervising the criminal section of the Office of Public Advocacy from 1990 until 2006 before moving to private practice. Volunteer activities have included Color of Justice, MLK Day, board membership at Camp Fire Alaska Council, and Law-Related Education Committee of the Alaska Bar. Growing up I lived in India for five years, and besides fighting for the underdog, travel is my abiding passion. Currently retired and discovering many new areas of inquiry along the Silk Road.
