Dining Options, Meal Plans, and Bookstore Purchases

For the academic year 2015-2016, Hampshire College requires that students participate in a meal plan according to the following schedule:

Unlimited Meal Plan

Required of all residents of Merrill, Dakin, and Prescott suite #104.

Dining commons only: Fall $2,420; Spring $2,420.

Voluntary Block Meal Plan

Optional for students housed in modular apartments, Enfield, Greenwich, and Prescott (exclud­ing Prescott suite#104), and com­muter students.

Each block meal counts for one all-you-can-eat visit to the Hampshire College dining commons.

  • 25 all-you-can-eat meals for $210
  • 50 all-you-can-eat meals for $420
  • 75 all-you-can-eat meals for $630
  • 100 all-you-can-eat meals for $835

Block meal plans purchased prior to November 15 do not carry over to spring semester. When you purchase a block meal plan on or after November 15, any unused block plan meals will carry over to spring semester. Unused block plan meals do not carry over to fall semester. Please consider this when selecting your block meal plan. To purchase, students must log on to TheHub and select Meal Plans under the Financial Info section.  All block plans are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

Café Card

Students are billed a $155 Café Card fee each semester, which will be entered on their OneCard for use at the dining commons or Bridge Café. 

Café Card Upgrades

Add additional funds to your Café Card at any time via TheHub. Available to all resident, mod, and commuter students for use at the dining commons or Bridge Café. 

Cafe Card funds do not carry over from spring to fall. Unused Cafe Card funds are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

Bookstore

All fully enrolled students whose accounts are up to date with the student accounts office may charge at the campus store using their OneCard. These charges will appear on your billing statement and must be paid within 30 days.
