Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitoring and oversight of overall implementation of Title IX compliance at Hampshire; supporting deputy Title IX coordinators; coordinating training, education, and prevention efforts; conducting on-going and annual climate checks and monitoring of sexual harassment allegations on campus; ensuring timely and fair resolutions; and establishing a centralized process for reporting all sexual harassment/sexual offenses claims on campus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The deputy Title IX coordinators facilitate the handling of the complaint with the appropriate office and compliance matters related to gender equity at Hampshire College.

Contact them if you have a complaint against another student for sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, or other potential violation of the sexual misconduct policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for Title IX compliance for matters involving employees and third parties, including training, education, communications, and administration of the grievance procedures for all complaints against employees, and third parties, including those complaints filed by students.


You may contact any member of the Title IX team if you:

  • Wish to understand your options if you think you may have encountered sex discrimination or sexual misconduct;
  • Learn of a situation that you feel may warrant a College investigation;
  • Need help on how to handle a situation by which you are indirectly affected;
  • You are a potential complainant and you seek guidance on possible non-disciplinary remedies or administrative measures to de-escalate or alleviate a difficult situation; and/or
  • Have questions about Hampshire College's policies and procedures.

Confidentiality

Conversations with coordinators are kept as private as possible, but information about incidents of sexual misconduct must be shared with relevant administrators of the College who may need to take action for reasons of community safety. In all cases, the wishes of the person initiating the conversation are given full consideration.
