Assistant Livestock Manager

Charlotte Senders grew up on a small farm outside Ithaca, NY, where her family raises Katahdin sheep (among many other animals) and runs a wood-fired bakery. Prior to Hampshire, she worked on a pastured livestock farm and for a food access nonprofit after graduating from Brown University. Throughout her undergrad, Charlotte worked primarily in food service, as a server, bartender, line cook, barista, caterer, and private chef. She tried her hand at veggie farming on small farm in Wales, but can’t seem to get away from working with animals. When she’s not farming, Charlotte is sewing, playing the fiddle, or hiking with her dog, Pete.
