The Stop Motion Animation Intensive is targeted towards undergraduate, graduate, and post-B.A. students, and is open to students from any concentration, major, or area of interest.
The primary takeaway of this program is real, practical production experience. Students would not only have the course on their transcript, but ultimately the film on their résumé and a credit on IMDB. Ideally, the film students make will be submitted to festivals around the world giving students an opportunity to attend, present the work, and network with other filmmakers. By focusing so heavily on collaboration, students will gain insight on the various roles available in production as well as perspective on their own skills and ambitions.
We encourage anyone with a strong interest/background in the topics covered during the program to apply.
2018 application review will begin in early February 2018. After this date, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by the faculty selection committee. Once students are accepted to the program, they will be required to make a $400 program deposit. Please note that the full tuition balance is due by May 18, 2018.
Students can learn more about our financial resources for summer programs by visiting our Financing Your Summer Experience page.
