Airport Lounge, Bridge Café, and Upper RCC
The Airport Lounge
Located on the upper floor of the Johnson Library Center, the Airport Lounge is a dynamic space with equipment and furniture that supports a variety of work styles.
- Projection and sound for large group events
- Flat screen television for small group collaboration
- Easy-to-reconfigure furniture
- Mobile marker boards/privacy screens
- Public computers and printing
In the past, the Airport Lounge was a 24-hour quiet study space. In response to community feedback, in 2015 it was turned into an open, collaborative space in which talking is allowed and encouraged. Information on hrs can be found on the Harold F. Johnson Library Hours page.
The Bridge Café
Note: The Bridge Café will be closed in Fall 2020. For other options visit the On-Campus Dining Services page.
The Bridge Café is located on the second floor of the Robert Crown Center. The name is taken from the bridge that connects Johnson Library's Airport Lounge and the Robert Crown Center. This fast casual café offers a la carte items, a coffee bar, daily specials, sushi, custom prepared meals, and grab-and-go selections.
Note: For Fall 2020 the Upper RCC is reserved as a space for commuter students from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. The building is open to the entire community from 4–9 p.m., 7 days a week.
Adjacent to the Bridge Café is a space known as the Upper RCC, which is used as a student social space and a location for events and performances.
