Hampshire Alum Justin Lowe 96S and Jonah Freeman’s COLONY SOUND at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum
Hampshire alum Justin Lowe 96S and longtime collaborator Jonah Freeman’s COLONY SOUND is currently on exhibit at AroS Aarhus Art Museum, one of the largest art museums in Northern Europe.
Freeman and Lowe’s COLONY SOUND is based on the theorist Herman Kahn’s theory on San San, which imagines that the cities between San Diego and San Francisco will merge into one huge city complex called San San. Freeman and Lowe imagine San San through a lens distorted by rumors, historical events, dystopian imaginings, maze-like trappings, and more.
