Pre-Doctoral Psychotherapist
Marley Balasco

Marley Balasco is a third-year doctoral candidate in counseling psychology at Springfield College, and received her master's in mental health counseling from New York University. She has previously worked in a myriad of settings, including wilderness therapy, community-based programs, and college counseling services. Marley integrates relational-culture, psychodynamic, and third-wave psychotherapy approaches within an intersectional framework. Broadly, she is interested in how young people navigate experiences of gender-, sexuality-, and race-based oppression, and further aims to identify how nature-based therapies can be utilized to promote psychological health.
