Prospective Applicants can get Common App online support through the Applicant Help Center. From the Help Center, click the "Ask a Question" tab to contact our support team and access a comprehensive FAQ resource covering different aspects of the application process.

Counselors/Recommenders with Common App questions or suggestions can contact them through the Recommender Help Center. You can also receive real-time support through the new chat program available now from 12-4 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.


Please note: Hampshire will not consider SAT or ACT scores in any way as part of admissions and financial aid decisions. If you self-report your scores through the Common Application or submit them to us through the College Board, we will remove them from your application file. Learn more about Hampshire’s decision to go test-blind.

In addition to the application, International students must submit the following items:

Financial Materials
Certification of Finances (PDF)
You must submit the Certification of Finances
with your application for admission



We usually require a minimum TOEFL score of 91 or a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 for admission to Hampshire. Predicted grades for IB English A1 or A2, or for A-level English, will also be considered.

Financial Aid

To be considered for need-based aid, please complete the *CSS Profile at the time of your application, as well as the CSS Non-Custodial Parent Profile if this situation applies to your family.
*There is a small fee associated with the CSS profile. All students MUST complete this application online in order for our financial aid office to receive it and to be considered for need-based aid.

After Submitting Your Application

Once we process your application, we will send an acknowledgment letter that includes a username and password for you to check the completeness of your admissions file online.
