Why I love working at Hampshire: The students! Hampshire students are some of the most innovative students I've had the chance to work with. There's always something new and student-driven happening around campus. Hampshire is also really gorgeous, and the fields of flowers and beautiful trees make every walk picturesque.

Best College Admissions Advice: Make sure you proof-read your materials and correspondence! While it's good to have a template to work off of for inquiry emails, sending a message with an question directed to "INSERT COLLEGE NAME HERE" is a little impersonal! We like to know that you're excited about Hampshire and have done a little of your own research on the institution.

A random fact about me: I enjoy collecting stoneware mugs. This makes moving apartments very difficult.

Favorite books: Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett; Life on Mars by Tracy K. Smith; When God Is a Traveller by Arundhathi Subramaniam

Favorite spot in the Pioneer Valley: Amherst Coffee in downtown Amherst

A skill I'm trying to learn: I'm working on learning Hindi.

Nothing will ever take the place of an experience.
