Students on Field Study
After you notify the college that you are going on field study, Central Records will add the comment ?Documentation of Completion Pending' to your transcript. When you provide us with the required documentation either in the form of transcripts and/or narrative evaluations for internships, courses or other activities, we replace the comment with appropriate titles for the documents received.
Please refer to the following options for submitting documentation to Central Records:
- Narrative evaluations should be on a letterhead, signed by the supervisor and placed in sealed envelopes to be either mailed or hand-carried to Central Records.
- Transcripts from US institutions should be mailed from the institution directly to Central Records.
It can be very difficult to acquire transcripts from international institutions once you have left the country. We recommend you request a transcript be issued to you in a sealed envelope before you leave the country, if possible. Bring this to Central Records unopened. If the transcripts are not final (all grades in) by the time you leave, get a transcript listing the courses in progress. Request that the institution mail a final transcript before you leave the country.
Students on Exchange Programs
After you notify the college that you are going on an exchange program, Central Records will add the comment 'Documentation of Completion Pending' to your transcript. When we receive your transcripts and or evaluations from the Global Education office, we will replace the comment with the appropriate titles of your courses and other learning activities.
