Farm and Garden Camp Assistants

The Farm and Garden Camp is run by The Farm Education Collaborative (TFEC) at the Hampshire College Farm each summer. Students interested in staff positions for the camp should apply directly to TFEC.

Work Study Positions (school year)

Livestock Assistant

Job Description: Feed, clean, and tend livestock. Chores include but are not limited to feeding and watering animals, gathering eggs, and maintaining farm facilities. Hours vary.

Vegetable Harvester

Job Description: Harvest organic vegetables for the Hampshire College CSA (fall semester only). Wash and prepare vegetables for shareholder pick-up and dining hall delivery. Hours are 7 a.m.-Noon (end time flexible) on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Some afternoon hours are also available. Must be able to work in the early morning outdoors in all types of weather.
