Major Sources of Aid

The major sources of aid are grants and scholarships, student loans, and work-study. Grants and scholarships are gift aid and do not need to be repaid.  Student loans must be repaid by the student when enrollment ends. Work-study is the opportunity to earn funds to help meet educational expenses.

Please see the Federal Student Loan Section of Loans and Financing Options for more detailed information about the different types of student loans.
