Hampshire College Ramps Up Admissions and Recruitment for a Fall 2020 Class

The Common Application will re-open in early fall 2019. Starting now, prospective high school and transfer students and families can join our mailing list and schedule a campus visit.

Alums, community members, and friends of the College can actively help support recruitment by using our Refer a Student Form, and sharing positive updates and news stories about Hampshire among your network and on social media.

Hampshire College prides itself on involving students in governance and operations as opportunities for engagement, learning, collaboration, and experience, at a level like few other colleges. The College anticipates students who want to contribute to efforts to renew our academic program will have a rare opportunity to help re-shape the future of this special College as we prepare to celebrate our 50th anniversary in fall 2020. The College is rebuilding staffing in the admissions and financial aid offices including developing a divisional reorganization and adding staff to manage our volunteer ambassador program.

At its meeting in May, Hampshire’s Board of Trustees voted to “resolve to admit a class for fall 2020 and proceed with the steps necessary to do so successfully.” Their confidence rests on the remarkable, historic outpouring of support this spring from Hampshire alums, friends, and people who believe in our College and want to help secure an independent Hampshire. Hampshire's approach to lifelong learning has been a transformative experience for thousands of graduates.
