The Holistic Learning Toolbox is a collection of resources created and curated to empower students, staff, and faculty with tools to foster holistic wellness, personal growth, and academic success. These resources can be used independently or while working with others, like professionals, groups, or loved ones. Toolbox content has been developed directly in response to community needs expressed in surveys, consultations, and activism.
The Student Tools (Hampshire login required) are organized by theme, and covers the following broad topics: Academic Tools and Strategies (time management, assistive technology), Developmental Skills (habits, goal setting, balance), Accommodations (navigating the process for students and faculty), Advising (choosing courses, Di/ii/iiiv development), Mental and Physical Health (self-care, navigating trauma, disability studies), and Self and Community Concept (dealing with negative self-esteem, identity, building a stronger sense of community on campus).
While many of the wellness resources in the Student Tools are applicable to everyone, we also wanted to create tools just for faculty and staff! Find your tools here (Hampshire login required):
Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to request resource types (handout, libguide, video, etc.) and/or content topics that you'd like to see. Also, we love collaborating! If you'd like to work with us to develop a resource for the toolbox, talk to us about that, too.
