The Bay Road Tennis Club and MultiSport Center, on the campus of Hampshire College, are open during the academic year, September through mid-May, offering:
Assorted membership plans are offered. Inquire about our tennis contracts, which guarantee a weekly court time.

Monday through Friday: 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 1–6 p.m.
*The Weight Room closes on the last day of class each semester and may operate on a limited schedule during Hampshire College’s winter break.
Tennis members pay no guest fees, may reserve courts up to two weeks in advance, purchase tennis contracts at a reduced rate, and use the track and fitness/weight room.
Non-members must pay a guest fee each time they play and may not reserve court time (walk-on only), except during special rate events and Community Tennis times. Non-members who substitute for members on contracts must pay a guest fee. Guests may use track and fitness room.
From December 19 through January 1, all contracts are suspended and court rates are $24/hr (with no guest fees!). We welcome members and non-members to visit the club and play with their relatives and friends. Members and non-members may make reservations during this period.
Walk-on time is considered time that is not reserved. For this rate, members or non-members may not call in advance for court time. Guest fees are charged for non-members except during Community Tennis Time.
A 24-hour notice of cancellation is required for all court reservations or court fees will apply.
Tennis contracts may be purchased for 34 weeks; all contracts are suspended from December 19 through January 1. By purchasing a contract, you are assured of having court time each week. Contracts starting later in the season will be pro-rated based on the rates below.
Seniors are invited to participate every Friday morning from 9–10:30 a.m. to have some fun on the courts.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings have been designated as open tennis time for the community. All courts cost $24/hr., and there are no guest fees. Members and non-members are welcome and may make advance reservations.

The Arthur Carrington Tennis Academy (ACTA) has been at Hampshire College for over 30 years and has been extremely successful in producing some of the Pioneer Valley’s best junior players. ACTA also has programs for recreational junior players.
ACTA offers after-school programs and Saturday-morning clinics for juniors. The emphasis is on having fun while learning the fundamentals of the game. Art Carrington provide tailor-made programming for junior players based on years of experience.
