David Matheson was vice president and senior partner of The Boston Consulting Group, where his work focused on the integration of health care and technology; since his retirement, he continues to work for the firm on a part-time basis. He also consults individually to a number of health care and educational institutions, including Partners in Health (working with Paul Farmer) and Ariadne Labs (working with Atul Gawande). David received a B.A. with first class honors from the University of St. Andrews, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review, and a M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School. He and his wife, Ellen Matheson, are the parents of a recent Hampshire graduate and a current Hampshire student, and are thrilled by the educational experience their children are having at the College.
