Jeffrey Parrish is an advanced doctoral student in his fourth year of clinical training at Antioch University New England. He has experience working with children, teens, and adults from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, as well as individuals with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations. He has worked with people facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, chronic pain, relationship issues, and challenges related to neurodivergence (e.g., ADHD and autism). Clinically, Jeffrey takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on existential, relational-cultural, cognitive-behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapies to best meet each client’s unique needs. His current doctoral research focuses on firefighter stress, coping strategies, and help-seeking behaviors.
