Jenna Gigliotti

Track and Field Coach

Coach Jenna Gigliotti joins Hampshire College OPRA as Assistant Track and Field Coach, specializing in coaching middle distance and distance runners. Jenna previously coached Cross Country and Track and Field at Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). She holds a certificate from USATF in Basic Principles of Endurance Training and completed a running coaching residency program with Chaski Endurance Collective.

Jenna has also coached herself for the past ten years, achieving PRs from the 800m through the marathon on the roads, track, and trails. Some notable recent performances of hers include a first place finish at the 2023 Hartford Marathon, a third place finish at the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon, a second place finish at the 2025 Mt Washington Road Race, and a first place finish at the 2025 Vermont Overland Trail Race. Jenna is a former D1 collegiate athlete, competing in Cross Country and Track and Field at Duquesne University. Her team won two Atlantic 10 Conference Cross Country Championship titles during her collegiate career. Jenna understands the unique demands of being a student athlete and she takes a holistic approach to coaching.

Jenna has a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, both from Duquesne University. Jenna has worked as a Physician Assistant in primary care. More recently, she has explored being an entrepreneur. When Jenna isn't coaching or running, you'll find her playing with her dog, gardening, and thrifting.
