Kate Gallogly, BA

Kate is drawn to working with people through transitions and believes that vulnerability and sensitivity are strengths to be harnessed. She sees therapy as a place for self-discovery and self-care through which we can build resilience, find belonging within ourselves, and create more ease in life. Kate is currently working towards her master’s degree in social work from Simmons University. She comes to the field of psychotherapy after working as a labor and delivery nurse where she supported people through pregnancy, childbirth and early postpartum. Kate received a BA in English and Art from Skidmore College and a BS in Nursing from UMass Amherst. She brings a variety of experience working with people across the lifespan, a passion for social justice, and a reverence for how the intersectionality of identities shapes our unique selves.
