Odessa Timmerman-McLean

Odessa received her master’s degree from the Smith College School for Social Work and is currently working towards independent licensure. Her previous work includes being a behavioral health technician at a hospital, interning at a community mental health facility, and completing an internship and post-graduate fellowship at a university. Though she has experience working with people of all ages, she is particularly passionate about working with emerging adults during important transitional moments in their lives. Her clinical interests include working with BIPOC folks, first-generation immigrants, international students, and LGBTQ people, identifying how these marginalized and often intersectional identities impact their identity formation and how they navigate the world. Odessa uses an integrative systems approach, believing that therapy should have the ability to shift and evolve based on an individual’s unique needs.
