Bell Ringing Celebration

Friday, May 14, 2021 at 3 p.m.

Graduates will line up and process across campus to Harold Johnson Library where the President and the Dean of Faculty will give remarks, followed by announcing each student’s name. As their name is read, each student will proceed onto the stage to pick up a prop diploma and have their picture taken (with the President or alone – student’s choice!). Each graduate will then ring the Div Free Bell once, pick up their personal commencement bell, and head to the library lawn while the celebration continues. Once all graduates in attendance have been recognized, they will ring their personal bells together and gather for a group picture. Students, staff, and faculty who are part of the on-campus testing program are invited to participate, as well as fall graduates and spring graduates studying remotely. The celebration will be broadcast live so families and friends can watch.

The Bell Ringing Ceremony will be live streamed on Facebook and will be posted on Hampshire’s YouTube channel.
