New and Transfer Student Orientation Program

New and Transfer Student Orientation Program

The goal of the orientation program is to get you connected to key administrators, faculty, staff, and student leaders as well as provide you with essential services, information, and resources to assist you in experiencing a successful first semester at Hampshire College and beyond. Most of your time during orientation will be filled with interactive sessions, small group activities hosted by staff and student orientation leaders, and the occasional special guest presenters or performers.

What to Expect

The first days of your Hampshire orientation experience will be guided by Student Affairs and Student Orientation Leaders, who will be available to answer your questions, hear any concerns, and share your excitement about Hampshire. Be prepared to participate in engaging and interactive sessions with orientation leaders and staff. These formative days are not only meant to be educational; they're also meant to be fun!
