Student Groups

Hampshire is home to over 100 student groups. Choosing one can be a challenge. Don’t see what you're looking for? Make it so: campus leadership and activities can help.

  More Cooperative
  mixed nuts
Since 1972, the Mixed Nuts co-op has provided cheap, organic, and natural food to the Hampshire community. Run entirely by student volunteers without administrative funding, Mixed Nuts is a testament to student dedication.

  More Active
  amnesty international
Students for Human Rights's mission is to raise awareness on campus of human rights issues abroad, educate the student body of what they can do to change these injustices, and to host events that will help accomplish both of these goals.

  More Voices
  crazy pitches
The Crazy Pitches a capella group is a group of students who work together to arrange, teach, learn, and perform songs that are not typical a capella tunes.

Through event registration and the formal recognition of student groups, Hampshire College encourages students to design and implement programs that enrich and are consistent with the educational mission of the College. The name "Hampshire College" and all abbreviations are property of the Trustees of Hampshire College and may not be used to imply, either directly or indirectly, the College’s endorsement, support, favor, association with, or opposition to an organization, product, or service without permission of the College. The assistant dean of students for campus leadership and activities, as well as the dean of students office or designee, may deny recognition as well as cancel events or activities that violate any of these criteria.
