Harm Reduction

Hampshire College works to ensure that all members of the community are able to: 
Get information on the effects of specific drugs, alcohol, and/or other substances
Get connected to on and off-campus resources for recovery and support, along with other resource needs 
Get assistance developing a plan to reduce or stop alcohol and/or substance use
Share ideas about smoking, drug, and alcohol issues on campus

On-Campus Private Resources

If you have concerns about your alcohol and substance use, you may call health services at 413.559.5458 to set up an appointment for a confidential assessment and/or counseling. If you would like additional confidential support to identify and address needs, resources, and referrals, you could reach out to the Prevention and Education Office at 413.559.5673.
