About the SRISA (Santa Reparata International School of Art)
For more than 50 years, the Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) has been one of the top art and design schools in Italy. SRISA’s highly personalized instruction and experiential learning meet the expectations and requirements of an American university curriculum.
We offer accredited programs of study, including academic year, semester, summer study abroad, and internships for credit. Prospective students can choose courses in studio art, design, and liberal arts & sciences in Florence — all taught in English. SRISA also hosts many faculty-led and customized programs offering unique opportunities for academic and cultural enrichment.
Credits and transcripts for accredited programs are provided through SRISA’s school of record, Maryville University.
We also offer a range of extra-curricular activities, art exhibits, field trips, experiential learning, guest lectures, museum visits, student art shows, fashion shows, and more to enhance SRISA’s academic programs.
Housing
SRISA provides housing for enrolled students, offering a chance to experience daily Italian life and build connections with other SRISA students.
Dates and Program Costs
Refer to the SRISA dates and fees for the program costs (Hampshire students receive a 15% discount.)
Other expenses: Students are responsible for the cost of meals; passport and visa fees; international and local transportation, including airfare; books and supplies; international health insurance; and personal expenses.
Eligibility
SRISA is open to Division II Hampshire College students.
