Federal Ombudsman Services for PLUS Loan Borrowers
Borrowers may contact the student financial assistance (SFA) ombudsman to informally resolve disputes and problems with their PLUS loans. The ombudsperson can help borrowers having problems with their loan servicer or holder. Contact the Ombuds office after you have tried resolving the issue directly with your loan servicer.
This service is free. We hope you will never need this service, but use it if you need it.
