Using the Classroom Projectors

The majority of Hampshire classrooms have projection systems and easy-to-use wall controllers. A personal laptop can be connected in any of these room. See our master list for individual classroom equipment information as well as the additional equipment (DVD player, classroom computer, etc) each room contains, as this varies by building. 

Projecting: The Basics

Step 1: Turn the projector on using the wall controller.

Step 2: Press the button on the wall controller for what you want to project (Your laptop? The DVD player? Etc.)

Step 3: Connect your laptop to the video cable, or turn on the classroom equipment.

Audio and Volume:

• Turn volume knob on control panel slowwwllyy. Also check the volume on your laptop.
• Make sure audio cable (attached to video cable) is plugged into laptop.
