Wright served the College for more than 30 years, first as director of the former Early Identification Program and later as director of the Career Options Resource Center. She died on February 3, 2026, at the age of 87.

Purinton came to the College to study theater. Today, he uses his stage training in the classroom, teaching a variety of history classes in which he uses beer and brewing history to consider the development of societies, economics, and political relationships.

Alum Michele Mirisola 08F, painter and sculptor, created the homeware company Chell Fish. She reimagines traditional craft invoking Baroque and Rococo styles with the use of seashells and contemporary materials such as epoxy clay, and recently created her first line of furniture under her own name.
